Be a Bookkeeper in an exciting, growing environment helping small and startup businesses.
We'd love to share with you the opportunity to be part of a small, dynamic and innovative online bookkeeping business.
The Role
You will be managing your own set of clients' accounts, ensuring they stay up to date with their online bookkeeping entries, allowing you to complete their monthly accounting using our own in house software.
As part of our new and unique service, you will also be their popular first port of call for accounting and bookkeeping enquiries. You will be expected to provide a personable and professional service, liaising with their accountant when necessary and making sure they meet their accounting deadlines.
Your Skills & Experience
A minimum of two years bookkeeping or accounts experience is essential, whether in practice or an accounts department.
Bookkeeping knowledge including sales and purchase ledgers, bank reconciliations. CIS, PAYE and VAT would be an advantage but not essential.
The ability to deal with clients in a professional manner and deal with any queries as they arise.
The desire to grow with the company will be welcomed and promoted.

The ability to think quickly, with initiative is very important. You must be trustworthy, honest, good at problem solving, be motivated yet patient, with an acute attention to detail and be able to multitask.
You should be able to work alone with motivation and initiative, or be able to pull together with a team, performing well with others. A dynamic, resourceful attitude would be a good fit in this environment.
Primary Tasks
• Daily conversations with existing and new clients in regard to their business needs
• Bank reconciliations
• VAT returns
• Client advice and support
• Processing expenses
