Modus Construction Consultants is a professional quantity surveying practice based in Boughton, Faversham who is seeking to employ a receptionist to join our team.
Whilst the ideal candidate would be employed on a full-time basis, we are open to speaking with candidates who require more flexible working hours to suit their needs.
The successful candidate will be expected to undertake activities such as:
• Greeting visitors and offering refreshments
• Answering telephone calls and taking messages
• Managing office and kitchen supplies
• Booking meetings for other members of the team
• Sorting, distributing and sending post
• Managing petty cash
• Filing and archiving
• Data entry and writing minutes
• Math computation checking
• Providing refreshments for the team
• Photocopying as and when required
• Be the in-house first-aider
• Organise company events
As this is a front-of-house role, candidates will be expected to be well-presented, have an excellent telephone manner, good customer relation skills, good speech and written communication skills, be friendly, polite and confident.
Candidates will also be expected to have good knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Word and Excel, good organisational skills and must have GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths and have a Full Driving Licence.
Knowledge of the construction industry is an advantage but not essential.
