The job: this ground-breaking partnership with Sport England will give local people opportunities to access the health benefits of nature. Volunteers will be trained to ive families plenty of opportunities to get outside, explore, learn and be active in nature - from bug walks to den building - there will be something for everyone. The post holder will work closely with the Visitor Centre Manager at Romney Marsh, the Community Education Team Leader, Events and Operations Officer Volunteer Development Officer and the Head of People Engagement to successfully deliver the project ensurng it is impactful for the beneficiaries, for Kent Wildlife Trust and for the funder, Sport England.

You: will be highly organised with experience of delivering training and community engagement projects, preferably for wellbeing outcomes. You will be a natural communicator with emotional and social intelligence, and able to effectively work with a range of people, including leading volunteers from different social backgrounds. You will maintain communication and excellent working relations with project partners and key stakeholders. You will have an awareness of positive wellbeing and good mental health, and with your conservation knowledge, willl have a good understanding of how nature can play a role in this.
