We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic PR Assistant to join our growing PR team. Reporting to the PR Manager, you will be working in line with all marketing campaigns, events and other company activities to raise the company’s brand awareness within main media outlets, influencers and general public. You will be organised, efficient and passionate about your job.

Responsibilities:

• Support with day-to-day PR activities.
• Provide logistical and administrative support under the guidance of the PR manager.
• Frequently update the company’s media contacts list.
• Support the management of existing media relationships with long-lead, short-lead, mainstream media, trade magazines and blogs.
• Working to secure coverage.
• Collect and file all press clippings and keep an updated press coverage log.
• Draft weekly and monthly PR reports.
• Work proactively with different departments to execute tasks.
• Distribute press releases and other relevant PR materials to all key contacts and follow up accordingly.
• With guidance, respond to media requests on behalf of the company.
• Manage the press loans and returns and maintain the relationships with editorial staff, stylists and photographers.
• Work to secure product placement on a regular basis in all key media worldwide.
• Monitor and report competitor activity and relevant industry trends, events and opportunities to appropriate teams.
• PR events end – to – end assistance.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous luxury fashion PR role or internships preferred.
• BA level of education in public relations and/or marketing related fields is desirable.
• Prior experience within e-commerce, childrenswear retailing and/or international environments will be considered an asset.
• A strong sense of social media & PR principles.
• Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal.
• Proven ability in writing and editing.
• Superior time management skills, highly organized with an ability to work quickly and efficiently, and to prioritize and multi-task.
• Enthusiasm for fashion and tapped into industry news.
• A confident user of Microsoft software (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Adobe.
