JOB SPECIFICATIONS
A history within an electro-mechanical/manufacturing environment preferable.
Machine Operating skills
Good communication and organizational skills.
Must have the ability to operate in a directed team effort and follow specific instructions but also work on one’s own initiative when necessary.
Read and understand order/specifications/drawings.
Previous experience in setting and operation presses an advantage.
Must be detail oriented.
Enthusiasm and a sense of humour.
Professional demeanour and appearance.
Ability to plan set and meet deadlines.
REQUIREMENTS NECESSARY TO PERFORM THIS JOB
The successful candidate must be fit and healthy as the position can at times require a large amount of physical activity.
Good eyesight is required to ensure good quality control.
Candidates must be able to prove their right to reside/work in the U.K.
Gas Counterbalance fork truck license an advantage.
Hourly rate is £8.50 to £10.00The position would suit a motivated and flexible team player, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to hard work.
There are occasionally opportunities for over-time and 20 days holiday plus bank holidays per annum, increasing with length of service
