Our client is currently sourcing a Development Team Lead, skilled in C#, ASP.net, MVC. This role will be based in the Mid Kent area and working for our market leading client. As the Development Team Leader you will be taking an integral role within the Agile Development Team.

This is a demanding role, ideally suited to someone with a broad range of skills along with the desire to lead, coach and mentor junior members of the Agile Software Development Team

Key Role Responsibilities

* Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features
* Maintain code integrity and organization
* Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits
* Design overall architecture of the web applications
* Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications
* Analyse and resolve technical and application problems
* Highly experienced with back-end programming languages
* Experience with cloud message APIs and usage of push notifications
* Knowledge of codeversioning tools

* Visual Studio Team Services
* Git

* Experience working with graphic designers and converting designs to visual elements
* A strong understanding of the implementation of security and data protection
* Agile Methodologies with a lean towards Kanban

Experience Required:

* Experience with web development technologies

* NET
* MVC
* CSS
* C#
* JavaScript

* Experience with automated testing
* Comprehensive understanding of object-orientated and service-orientated application development techniques and theories
* Passionate about Software Engineering and continued learning
* Desire to help others improve through mentoring
* 3+ Years' experience as a Software Developer
* Prior experience in a technical leadership position
* Experience with database development including database design in SQL
* Experience with HTML, Git (source control) and Web API

Desirable Experience:

* AngularJS
* Elastic Search
* Azure
