General Supply Teacher required for September in Ramsgate

Your new company
Hays are the leading recruiter for the Education sector and therefore work with a number of schools throughout the Ramsgate and surrounding areas.

Your new role
Joining Hays as a supply teacher, you will be responsible for managing classrooms of between 25 and 30 pupils within secondary schools. You will be responsible for managing behaviour, delivering pre-planned work, ensuring a positive learning environment is maintained and ensuring all pupils are completing the required work. You will regularly be in the same schools throughout Ramsgate and the surrounding areas, therefore will build strong working relationships with schools.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must hold Qualified Teacher Status, previously worked with children between the ages of 11 and 16 within an educational setting, ideally having managed groups of pupils independently. This experience must also have been for a minimum of 40 days within the last 1-2 years. You will have a proactive approach, as well as have a passion for working with children. You must be able to associate yourself with the below qualities:

* leading by example, through outstanding practice and professionalism;
* caring about students, their learning, and their futures;
* driven to make a difference, to overcome barriers, to be relentless in enabling all students to make exceptional progress;
* committed to your own personal development and to collaborative, consultative working

Also to and experience working alongside other successful teachers, therefore developing your knowledge of the education sector. You will also have an attractive work life balance, as this role can be completed on a part or full time basis, therefore you will have flexibility in regards to your working pattern. Furthermore, you will join our Hays Refer a Friend Scheme where you could be entitled to receiving £250 in high street vouchers and you will also gain access to our Hays Hub App. You will be paid weekly with the option to work as through PAYE or an Umbrella company.
