The Programme Coordinator will be responsible for administrative and coordination support, and other programme management tasks as directed by the programme lead. While accountable to the programme lead, the post holder will need to be a self-starter and have a good degree of autonomy as most of the work will be self-directed and involve direct engagement with a range of stakeholders, including at chief executive and board level. It is a role where an individual can develop both programme management and strategic skills.



Coordinate the monitoring and reporting of the agreed programme plans. This includes updating programme reports, risk registers and programme management templates and link with the Programme Management Office.
 Coordinate and support the delivery of the programme process, working autonomously to manage a portfolio of work liaising directly with a range of stakeholders, including at chief executive and board level

Update plans as directed by Programme Lead and maintain programme files and records
 Administer and assist Programme Board meetings and Task and Finish groups, including taking comprehensive minutes that can be shared in the public domain
 Interpret and understand complex information from a variety of sources in order to support the development and maintenance of the programme schedules
 Monitor record and report risks to the programme

Demonstrate advanced communication and change management skills to ensure effective communication across the system in understanding timescales and programme plans, including negotiating difficult or contentious decisions and making recommendations to the programme lead on courses of action. Produce written reports and present data on complex issues in an easy to follow, logical format appropriate for audience through Microsoft Project, Word, Excel and Powerpoint

Undertake ad-hoc Programme or administrative duties as required to support the Programme



EXPERIENCE
 Experience in supporting programmes/projects and service change activities
 Experience of supporting all aspects of project management, risk management, and operational management
 Experience of responding to queries from stakeholders, including members of the public, both verbally and in writing

SKILLS & ABILITIES
 Ability to support programmes covering a wide range of business requirements
 Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to communicate with a wide range of audiences from professional bodies to staff and the public for a wide variety of occasions
 Experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications
 Ability to collate, analyse, understand and present complex financial and programme/project information.

The ability to prioritise, multitask and work under pressure
 Accuracy and attention to detail
