Experienced Legal Secretary required for professional established solicitors based in Canterbury.
The purpose of the role is to provide secretarial and administrative support to the fee earner and conveyancing department.
Key responsibilities will include;
Using Land Registry Portal to complete returns and the submission of SDLT forms.
General filing, photocopying and file maintenance.
The management of diaries and diary notes, reporting on these in a timely manner.
Reception cover as and when required.
Adhering to the firms compliance with accounts and administrative procedures.
Setting KPIs in line with the firms business plan and participating in performance management.
Being a champion of standards set surrounding customer service, taking a pro activate approach in identifying new systems to improve customer experiences.
Ensuring that confidentiality is applied with all appropriate work and recognising that any breach of this will be treated very seriously.
My client is looking for someone who has the relevant secretarial experience within the conveyancing sector. Although no formal qualifications are necessary a good standard of education is required.
Being competent in the use of MS Wrod and Outlook (Professional) with experienced gained in a working environment is desirable.
A proficient audio typist who is familiar with transcribing correspondence using digital dictation.
As a person it is essential you can demonstrate a work ethic that is built around a team environment, someone who uses their own initiative in being creative and professional in dealing with incoming queries. Having exceptional attention to detail is imperative.
