We are recruiting Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Operatives for our client, a long established organisation, to join their service-driven grounds maintenance team for the Spring/Summer season.
Full training will be given and there is an opportunity for permanent employment for the right people.
The focus of the role will be to help maintain and improve the standard of gardens, highway verges, municipal parks and open spaces. The successful applicant will be undertaking all aspects of grounds maintenance, including grass cutting, keeping areas tidy and free from debris/litter, lining pitches, shrub/tree pruning, hedge cutting and weed spraying.
As part of a team, the working hours will be 7.00am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday with some weekend overtime being offered at an enhanced rate.
Experience in a similar role is advantageous. For insurance purposes, applicants must have a full driving licence with no more than 3 points, and will be required to carry out a brief driving assessment prior to starting.
Holding a PA1 and PA6 certificate would also be advantageous.
