This role as dual responsibility for coordinating the planning, management and execution of multiple concurrent small to medium size projects involving hardware, software and product transfer and for implementing key business improvement initiatives across the site by enlisting and influencing multi-functional teams delivering tangible business results in line with Operational Excellence Program through the application of Lean and Six Sigma principles, methodologies and tools.
Responsibilities: Project management
1. Provide accountability for project execution and lead a single, larger-scale project, or multiple smaller-scale projects at any given time depending on organizational needs;
2. Develop effective and lean PM tools and methodologies to efficiently guide and facilitate successful project management and execution to expectations while balancing objectives of scope, time and budget;
3. Develop and capture metrics to support continuous evaluation of active and complete projects to support process improvement around cost estimation, time estimation, and other relevant factors that impact execution;
4. Provide and enable the PM Governance to ensure decisions are made in a timely manner and that all risks and issues are escalated effectively and dealt with in a controlled and compliant manner;
5. Support and develop close collaboration between stakeholders in Engineering, Operations, QA&RA, Supply Chain etc.;
6. Organize and manage recurring project team meetings between internal and external customers to review the plan and deliverables;
7. Support all Company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and complies with FDA regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes etc.
Industrial Improvement
1. Responsible for identifying, developing and leading improvement initiatives across the site;
2. Responsible for developing and implementing process improvements using Lean Manufacturing, Six-Sigma, and Manufacturing Maintenance Excellence principles/tools;
3. Provide project updates to the Industrial Performance Manager and the Operative / Management team;
4. Analyse given data and operating conditions; implement changes and follow-up on results by involving key responsible people;
5. Determine all possible solution in order to eliminate all forms of waste;
6. Communicate with other departments to ensure updated requirements and target in production;
7. Approach the role in a flexible manner, and be prepared to adapt to requirements outside of the immediate role that are essential to the organisation
Skill Requirements:
1. Bachelor?s degree in Engineering or technical field preferred
2. 5+ years of cross-functional Project Management experience; PMP certification preferred;
3. Experience leading projects in a medical device, biomedical or highly regulated manufacturing environment (Pharmaceutical, Consumer Product, Automotive, Aircraft, or Medical Device) is preferred;
4. Strong track record in Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing tool application in a dynamic manufacturing environment with tangible improvements is required;
5. An organized, analytical approach to problem solving is essential.
6. Familiarity with FDA, GMP and ISO requirements would be preferred;
