The Best Connection Employment Group are currently seeking numerous Class 2 temporary drivers to fulfill our vacancies that have been created in a company based in Sittingbourne.

The role itself requires the candidate to deliver a variety of goods on the pallet network, averaging 15-16 drops per day.

You will be required to deliver mainly to home addresses, occasionally delivering to businesses/companies.

Your typical day would be to arrive at the company at 09:00, and report to the transport desk to collect the keys and delivery notes, you must then ensure that the vehicle is loaded correctly and all necessary vehicle checks are completed to the highest of standards, then plan your day by studying the delivery notes that will be given to you on arrival. Once you arrive to a specific drop, please be aware that you are required to unload the vehicle with a pump truck.

Please note: All deliveries to home addresses will be curbside, therefore you are not permitted to enter the homeowners grounds. Once you have unloaded the vehicle with a pump truck, you will be required to ensure that the goods are easily accessible to the customer, they will be required to pick up their goods and take it into their own homes, once they have competed this, you are required to load the empty pallet onto your vehicle, and proceed with your day.

Please note: The vast majority of deliveries to businesses will be fork-lifted off by an employee, therefore you are required to ensure that your vehicle is easily accessible so that they can complete their duties in a timely fashion.

The company itself pride themselves on delivering excellent customer service, therefore it is essential that all candidates are polite, efficient and are able to maintain good customer service whilst at the specific deliveries. Taking this into account, it is imperative that all candidates have a clear understanding of the English language, and are able to speak fluently via telephone and face to face.

Please Note: Previous multi-drop experience is essential to the client. It is crucial that the deliveries are made in a timely fashion, and communication with the client and delivery points are imperative to ensure successful delivery.


Pay rates:

PAYE: £11.00

LCC: £13.00


To be eligible for this position you must possess:

- Category C Licence
- Valid CPC
- Valid Digi-Card
- Keen eye to detail
- A friendly attitude (Customer Facing)
