Purchasing Assistant

Joining an expanding family business in the Facilities Management industry, this is an exciting role, enabling you to make a real impact on the profitability of your contacts.
The role of Purchasing Assistant will include duties such as:-
* Resourcing specialist suppliers for bespoke products
* Sourcing samples for clients' approval
* Negotiating rates for regular bulk and bespoke purchases
* Understanding and recording warranty and guarantee details on purchases to ensure the client is aware of such
The ideal candidate will:-
* Have a knowledge of the building industry, and understand the materials used
* Be confident in communicating with surveyors, builders merchants, clients, engineers etc
* Be able to update the CRM systems with orders, and keep all parties updated with progress of purchases
This is a new, stand-alone role within the business, so will grow and develop around the successful candidate.
