We are currently recruiting for a talented Assistant Accountant to join a busy and successful office, based in Dover. This exciting opportunity is on a temp to perm basis, working 37.5 hours a week across Monday to Friday.
Reporting into the Management Accountant, you will be required to provide support with the production of management information.

A lovely opportunity to provide a professional and accurate service within the Finance department.

Furthermore, the role will also involve:
• Assist Management accountant in all aspects of month end as required
• Process monthly invoices and payments
• Monthly depreciation journals and maintenance of fixed assets register
• Preparation of intercompany schedules
• Bank Transaction Posting and Bank Reconciliation
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Petty Cash Control all sites holding cash
• Check and post Credit Card expenses
• Monthly KPI statistics
• Preparation & review with Departmental Managers of Monthly Departmental P&Ls
• Provide data analysis from the finance system as requested
• Provide cover for and assist Purchase Ledger when required
• Excel analysis of sales & cost data
• P&L preparation with cost & variance analysis
• Assisting with production of data for audit and annual accounts filing
• Any other finance related tasks

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
• 2-3 years of experience within an Assistant Accountant role
• Hold a valid driver’s licence
• Ideally studying towards an accountancy qualification
• SAGE experience
• Strong Excel skills
• Good communicator
• Must be a team player prepared to muck in
