Project and Development Engineer

Recruitment Solutions (Folkestone) Ltd are looking to recruit a Development Engineer to join our growing client based in Whitstable, Kent.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a Market Leading client of ours who supply engineering solutions and are at the forefront of cutting-edge technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing interconnection solutions to meet customer needs. The candidate will have an Engineering qualification to HND/HNC or Degree level along with strong development and communication skills.

All About the Role

You will be supporting product development activities from concept through to customer acceptance. Client interactions and contributing to new business opportunities. Provide new business proposals and sales quotations. Working in collaboration with Operations Department to ensure the smooth implementation to series production of developed product.

Contributing to the Technology Plan for the development and identification of new product opportunities. Carrying out quality in investigations, correct actions and process improvements. To Project Manage and have total confidence to liaise with clients via telephone and email.

All About YOU!
Engineering qualification to HND/HNC or Degree level
Mechanical Engineering background, with knowledge of mechanical design principles
3D CAD experience and knowledge
Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, etc)
Good communication skills
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00 to 17.30 and Friday 08:00 to 13:00

Salary – Competitive depending on experience
