We are looking for an Accounts Team Leader - Purchase Ledger to help in our busy office in Tunbridge Wells. This role would ideally suit a highly organised individual with an excellent attention to detail. This candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities:
• Take responsibility for day to day processing of Inventory invoices, allocate tasks to and assist with queries from other team members.
• Act as team leader for the Inventory AP team, work closely with team members to ensure successful achievement of objectives and to
enhance the team’s overall capabilities.
• Match inventory supplier invoices to goods receipts. Where they do not match, follow up with Merchandising and suppliers to resolve the
difference in a timely manner.
• Answer queries from internal and external contacts.
• Reconcile ledger accounts to supplier statements.
• Prepare month end reconciliations of key AP related accounts.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and month end reconciliations of the master stock data to accounting systems.
• Reconcile pre-payments.
• Assist in weekly payment runs and send out remittance advices, taking full advantage of discounts due.
• Investigate and Reprocess failed PO’s, PR’s and PRN’s daily.
• Act as SAP B1 superuser for AP.
• Ad hoc projects as required.

Key Skills:
• Experience of managing a small team.
• Ability to work at speed and with accuracy.
• Good level of written and spoken English, able to work with senior managers and suppliers.
• Good Excel skills.
• Ability to be flexible.
• Experience of using SAP and matching invoices to purchase orders an advantage.
