Project Manager - New Product Development - Manufacturing - Orpington - £40,000 - £45,000

A leading scientific manufacturing organisation with a global client base is seeking a Project Manager to join there established team due to growth.

Duties include:

* Ensure new product development projects are completed to time and budget
* Collaborate with all parts of the business to ensure all stakeholders requirements are captured
* Plan and manage all project related tasks including timescale, resource and costs
* Drive project progress maximising pace and efficiency in delivering objects
* Communicate product vision and project progress to the business
* Facilitate and aid project team members to fulfil their objectives
* Contribute to continuous process improvement
* Maintain awareness of state of the art engineering and manufacturing techniques

Experienced Required:

* In depth technical understanding of product and application areas
* Experience in design and new product development environment
* Commercial awareness and familiarity with manufacturing business
* Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and optical design
* Experience of SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD system
