Placing & Claims Technician - Lloyds Broker

Native / Fluent Italian speaker

An opportunity to join the technical department of a growing Lloyds Broker and Coverholder based in the City of London, specialising in European casualty risks.

A dual role to support the placement of risks into the Lloyds market and claims processing &broking.

Duties
·Prepare broking presentations for new and renewal business together with endorsements.
·Support placement of risks and claims collection in respect of open market, lineslip and binding authority business.
·Create client documentation, evidence of cover, debit notes etc.
·Liaise with accounts department regarding payment of premium to market and bureau and claims collections/payments.
·Prepare and arrange claims presentations to underwriters and broke claims face to face when required.
·Liaise with clients, underwriters and other professional bodies.
·Process claim collections on in house and London market computer systems(ECF)and arrange payment to claimants, clients or intermediaries
·Review and provide claims history, loss information, and figures to other divisions, underwriters and clients and resolve any accounting queries
Knowledge and Experience
·Bilingual Italian / English is desirable (French and/or German advantageous)
·Familiar with ECF
·Knowledge of the practices and processes of the Lloyd's, London and International insurance markets.
·Experience and understanding of the insurance classes of business in which the post holder is to specialise.
·Knowledge of and fluency in personal computer operating systems/application software (e.g. Microsoft Windows; Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Outlook)
