Communications Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for a Communications Assistant to join our growing team, here at OneSavings Bank.

OSB are a challenger bank who specialise in specialist lending and retail savings. We’ve experienced significant growth over the last few years, with our UK employee base more than trebling to what is now exceeding 600 staff.

The primary focus of the role is to assist the Senior Communications Executive with external communications for InterBay Commercial including marketing campaigns and providing occasional support to other brands within OneSavings Bank. This role includes using business insight to feed into marketing activity, creating and managing regular integrated campaigns using a mix of channels to reach and attract existing and potential customers effectively.

As the Communications Assistant, you would be…
• Supporting the development and delivery of a content strategy that ensures the delivery of regular, timely and meaningful communications around Lending using a multichannel approach
• Working with external stakeholders in our creative and media agency to ensure marketing campaigns are implemented effectively
• Monitoring, analysing and producing reports to evaluate the effectiveness of all communications channels, projects and campaigns, adopting a ‘test and learn’ approach to all activity
• Working closely with customer insight, design, digital, internal communications, public relations and events colleagues and internal stakeholders to drive forward brand communications and feed into audience segmentation strategy
• Ensuring that all brand promotions comply with regulatory requirements such as Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and internal legal and compliance standards

Please note there is the requirement to travel to our office in Southampton, InterBay Commercial

• The salary associated with the role would be based on your relevant experience, with the range being between £18,000 and £21,000

You’ll be a motivated, customer focussed and conscientious individual who is able to say ‘yes’ to the following questions:
• Do you have existing experience in a marketing or communications environment?
• Do you have a experience planning and managing marketing and content campaigns?
• Do you have GCSE/GCE qualifications in both Maths and English?
