The Role

Twig is now seeking a ‘hands-on’ pragmatic individual to manage its equipment and materials at its yard at Horsmonden, Tonbridge, Monday to Friday inclusive. The role would be responsible for:

• Housekeeping of Equipment and Materials
• First Line Care and Maintenance of Equipment
• Receipt and Marshalling of Equipment and Materials
• Preparation, Loading and Unloading of operational Equipment and Materials
• Liaison with Engineering firms for repairs and servicing.
• Liaison with operational teams in respect of requirements for Equipment and Materials.
• Picking-up and/or organising deliveries
• Administration pertaining to Equipment / Materials.
• Continuous Improvement.

Skills and Experience

The Twig Group are seeking an individual who has either proven prior experience of such a role, or an individual with demonstrable ‘willing’ technical and organisational aptitude for such a role. The individual must have a firm recognition of Health & Safety regulations and have a range of skills in relation to driving, towing, tractors, ‘plant’, ATVs, spraying, fencing, tree planting equipment and materials.

The individual must have a ‘clean’ unhindered return on a DBS check.

Remuneration

The role will pay in-line with skills and experience, with a view of attracting the right individual, circa £9.50/Hr, including 22 days holidays per year, pension, and health insurance benefits.
