A leading software solution provider is looking to add an experienced Senior Java Software Engineer to their growing in-house development team at an exciting time in the industry. We’re looking for a developer who is happy both architecting and implementing new modules for their product, alongside optimising and enhancing existing modules.

This Senior Java Software Engineer role is based in the ETL team, designing and implementing the proprietary Java-based frameworks that load billions of counters a day. They present a real-time view of data across networks in innovative and efficient ways using cutting edge technologies.

As a Senior Java Software Engineer you’ll be working with people across the business and your responsibilities will include development and test cycles, project scoping/specification and team planning/management.

You’ll need good knowledge of the following core skills to be considered.
· Java (Core Java, Maven, Spring)
· Linux (Red Hat/CentOS, Docker)
· CD/CI Tools (Jenkins 2, Artifactory)

Any experience with the following would be advantageous:
· SQL (preferably Vertica or Postgres)
· SVN
· Mobile Networks (GSM, UMTS, CDMA or LTE)
· Working in an Agile team
