Are you looking for some manual work for the summer season 2019?

Applications are invited from individuals who want to be part of a Grounds Maintenance Team in and around the Folkestone & Hythe area.

It is important to confirm these positions will not start until end of March 2019 at the earliest, possibly first week April, depending on the weather, so at this stage, we are collating CVs. However, any applications that are of particular interest will be contacted sooner rather than later.

Although previous Grounds Maintenance or general Gardening experience would be helpful, applications are invited from individuals with a good work ethic, a good attitude who will ultimately commit for the season.

You will need to be physically fit, due to the physical nature of the work.
Please note a driving licence is required as you may be asked to drive a small works van.

The position will involve a combination of:-
Extensive grass cutting
Digging flower beds
Weeding
Planting up
Using industrial scale mowers and strimmers
Basic plant knowledge helpful, although not essential, providing you have an aptitude for the position.

You will be working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Your hours of work will be 7.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday (with an hour for lunch + breaks) and 7.30am – early finish on a Friday (no lunch break).

The hourly rate will be in the region of £8.45 per hour x 37 hours per week!
