Metcraft Group LTD are one of the largest fuel tank manufacturing companies in the UK and due to continued expansion throughout 2018 and planned work load for 2019, we are now looking for a talented Junior / Graduate CAD Draftsman Technicians to become part of the design team in Rochester, Kent.
This is an ideal role for a graduate looking for experience working in an engineering environment within a dynamic and growing business.
As a Junior / Graduate CAD Draftsman Technicians you will undertake a vast array of tasks & responsibilities including but not restricted to:

Duties:
To create detailed 2D technical and manufacturing drawings from quotations and sketches for both client approval and manufacturing purposes, using AutoCAD
working alongside Engineers, Designers and sales staff to confirm design and technical details
Ensure that all drawings produced are in keeping with the Company’s standards
Liaise with clients and engineers, to agree their requirements for drafting
Make amendment and revisions to existing drawings based on internal and customer requests
Building a database of standard product drawings’
Assist with other business operations within the company

Must Have:
Experience using 2D AutoCAD software
Engineering interests
Good Microsoft Office experience
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Excellent numerical and communication skills
Good listening skills and the ability to deal with employees and customers requirements

Salary:
£14,000.00 - £18,000.00 depending on experience/qualifications

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:
Experience using 2D AutoCAD software
2x A-C A Levels or equivalent if no working experience
Hons Degree beneficial but not a necessity
