The Travel Department is looking for a Senior Travel Co-ordinator with proven experience in the travel industry to join their team on a permanent basis.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Book and maintain travel for F1 Staff
- Travel to some F1 races to oversee the Travel Logistics that have been co-ordinated
- Keep up to date records of costs and prepare various Excel based reports for accounts
- Assist with the visa application process
- Maintain clear communications with managers, staff and third parties
Essential Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in the travel industry, ideally previous experience within group logistics
- Recent experience of booking flights, hotels etc.
ABOUT YOU:
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of the travel industry, especially in relation to booking complex logistics schedules for groups
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent organisation skills
- Great administrative skills with a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrable problem-solving skills
Desirable Knowledge and Skills:
- Additional languages would be an advantage
Essential Personal Qualities:
- Strong customer focus
- The ability to work independently or as part of a team
- High level of integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Naturally inclined to step-in and assist the wider team where necessary
- Flexible work ethic and a willingness to resolve issues outside of normal working hours
