Busy firm of Chartered Accountants is looking for an experienced accounting professional to join the team and provide support to the Client Managers. Previous experience of working within an accountancy practice is essential for this position.

The practice is looking for someone with several years’ experience of dealing with small and medium businesses - sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
The role is:
• To be responsible for a portfolio of businesses and possibly personal taxation clients.
• To prepare management and annual accounts, corporate tax computations and personal tax returns.
• To give advice on, for example, accounting matters, remuneration planning, etc.
• To prepare board minutes and dividend vouchers for company clients.
If you are experienced in personal and company taxation that would be beneficial, but training will be provided. You may be part qualified, or qualified by experience in practice. Good accounting software experience is required, and the ability to learn new client packages. Software training will also be given.
You should be a car owner/driver, willing to visit clients if required. Experience in business development and/or marketing would be useful but is not essential.
The practice has a friendly work environment and the salary package will be commensurate with you experience and ability. Some overtime will be required and will be paid for. Ideally, a full-time position, but the practice will consider some flexibility over hours.
