We are currently recruiting for an employer of choice, located on Kings Hill and specialising in insurance. This client offers the most amazing working conditions and an extremely supportive, friendly environment with great on the job training provided.
Due to a significant increase in work flow within the Pet Insurance Claims Department, our client is looking for an individual to provide additional support to the exceptionally busy team. This is basically a combination of customer care and administration. It is important to qualify this is a non-sales role!
This could for example, be perfect for a recent Graduate, an A Level leaver or someone with a good general education looking for some long term work that is likely to develop into something on a more permanent footing.
An immediate start is required. You would start on an agency basis for a period of 4 weeks, before progressing you onto an initial fixed term contract for 6 months. It is also important to confirm that there will be opportunities to progress into permanent roles at the end of the initial 6 months and become a fully trained Pet Insurance Claims Assistant!! This client is always very keen to retain people within their business who have performed well during this initial period .
You will be working within a small attractive contact centre setting, handling incoming calls from policy holders who are making the claim, updating the system with information regarding the claim, and also helping your colleagues within the Pet Insurance Claims Team with occasional outbound calls to the Veterinary Surgery involved with the claim where there is a query for example, enabling the claim to be processed, so being a team player is key as there will be lots of liaison with your colleagues.
What are we searching for in terms of experience and personal skills?
There is no ideal candidate for this position, although a great telephone manner is key and excellent communication skills are also essential, as this client works to the principals of Treating Customers Fairly, or basically, as you would wish to be treated.
Some previous admin, customer service or even retail experience could be ideal, as would a general love of animals.
Additional qualities and experience we are seeking?
Good general PC skills.
The ability to deliver in terms of accurate data entry, general administration and outstanding customer service skills.
A positive, professional approach to everything you do.
A desire to learn and develop within the role with on the job training.
Hours of work and salary/rate:
36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
8.30am – 5.00pm with a 45 minute lunch break.
Overtime can also be made available for those who want it.
Our client is offering a starting salary of £16,500,00 per annum (which equates to £8.75 per hour x 36.25 hours per week).
