Amelix Telecom New Business Executive

Salary: Basic salary £21,000 - £25,000 OTE

Unlimited commission that is given on every sale made (for details see http://www.amelixtelecom.co.uk/commission/)
No targets. Yes, you read it right, we scrapped targets a long time ago!
Quarterly integrity bonus
28 days annual leave including bank holidays
Up to 37.5 hours a week ideally 9-5.30 weekdays (however some flexibility can be given to the right candidate)

Job Purpose:

We are looking for a proactive, deal-making machine to join our small but perfectly formed team in Whitstable. Amelix Telecom is based on 3 core drivers, integrity, understanding and empowerment. In essence, if we understand what our customer needs, and we can deliver it with integrity every member of the team is empowered.

We are expanding and therefore looking for someone to become our principal new business executive, using their initiative to reach out to potential customers and putting the amazing portfolio of telecoms and data products Amelix Telecom has to offer in front of decision makers in the B2B space. We are aiming our products at start-ups and entrepreneurs, right up to multi-site large corporations.

We are small, so you need to be a pro-active self-starter, we don’t buy lead databases or have rooms full of disgruntled outbound call centre people generating leads. We believe in building solid connections and creating new business from scratch based on need.

Reporting to: Our lovely Commercial Manager Amy

The role:

After some initial training on our product offering, you will start building your own client list from scratch. There is no magic database of contacts, you will need to build your own client list.

We will, of course, give you the tools and support to do this and will work with you to bring customers on board. We scrapped targets a little while ago as we want to make sure all our new business comes backed with integrity, and not just to hit a “magic number” in order to qualify for commission.

You will make commission on every new customer and additional work your customers bring in so the earning potential is endless. We don’t put caps on your commission or make you fit into forecasts or month end boxes. We are growing so career progression and scope is endless with this role.

Oh, we should mention you should be a little bit organised as you will need to produce a weekly activity report for your line manager.

Skills and Qualifications:

People Person, Solution Oriented, Customer Satisfaction, Financial Analysis, Travel, Product Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Public Speaking, Great Written and Verbal Communication Skills, Basic Computer Literacy, Basic Math Skills, Team Building, Client Relationship Management, Motivator, Experience in a telesales environment is preferred but not essential.
