* Carrying out preventative maintenance to reduce the risk of breakdowns
* Responding to roadside breakdowns
* Fault finding, including mechanical, fuel and electrical systems
* Repairing reported daily driver defects
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical defects on HGV, light commercial, Forklifts
* Undertaking 6 weekly safety inspections
* Complete all relevant paperwork and documentation to the required standard
* Carrying out pre MOT inspections and prepping for test
* Attend breakdowns on site where required
* Maintain cosmetic appearance of the fleet
Qualifications:
* Must be qualified to NVQ level 3 in a relevant discipline or have time served experience.
* Driving licence essential, HGV class 2 licence
Experience:
* Post qualification workshop experience in heavy goods vehicle repairs and maintenance.
* Mobile experience would be an advantage
