New Appointments Group are currently looking to compliment the West Kent Permanent Division with the appointment of a self-motivated, tenacious, and driven Candidate Consultant on a temporary basis.

Since our first offices opened in 1975 New Appointments Group have become a trusted recruitment partner of hundreds of businesses across the South East and beyond.

As Candidate Consultant, you will support a skilled team of three Consultants based in the Sittingbourne office in the timely placement of candidates into permanent and fixed term contract roles.

Reporting into the Operations Manager for the Permanent Division, key accountabilities for the post-holder will include:

* Uploading candidate information into an in-house CRM;
* Identifying various levels of talent through proactive searching of various external job boards and an in-house CRM;
* Telephone screening potential candidates;
* Supporting commercial activity through lead generation;
* Aiding in the smooth running of live recruitment desks in time of absence;
* Providing general administrative support across the team.

Previous experience within agency recruitment, or internal recruitment would be highly advantageous but this isn't essential in order to make a successful application.

We are looking to hear from candidates that have proven ability to work in an extremely fast paced environment, possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and have a passion for providing excellent customer service.

The role will see the successful candidate join on a temporary basis - we're looking for someone to be able to start within the next few weeks in order to undergo in-house training in December.
