Want to be involved in a brand new venture? We are looking for the very best in the industry to join our team.

The JCB Group is a family-run business going through an exceptional period of growth and this is set to continue. We currently have 17 sites across Kent, Sussex and Essex and around 400 employees, covering 10 brands; Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Honda, SEAT, SKODA, Kia, Mitsubishi, SsangYong, Citroen and TPS.

In January 2019 we are opening our brand new Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicle dealership in Gillingham, Kent. This is a brand new site and offers the amazing opportunity of being involved in establishing the business and client base.

As Customer Liaison, your role will be to ensure the highest degree of customer satisfaction to achieve customer loyalty. You will do this by delivering outstanding customer service whilst maximising sales opportunities.

Key tasks include (but are not limited to):
•Ensure the showroom and customer facing staff adhere both to brand and JCB Group standards in terms of professional appearance.
•Ensure that all invoices and other communications to customers are clearly comprehensive and have been explained verbally
•Consult with customers to discover and understand their needs and address customer hesitation and resistance appropriately
•Approach and receive customers promptly and courteously at all times
• Record each sales opportunity, contact and follow-up accurately onto daily activity control system
•Ensure pre-delivery inspection and any sanctioned repairs / servicing are carried out and that customers are notified of delays, changes in requirements and specification of the vehicle outstanding to ensure a satisfactory vehicle handover
•Handle dissatisfied customers calmly, resolve complaints with sensitivity and involve the Brand Manager when needed

You will be amiable and approachable, with a passion for outstanding customer service and a drive and determination to hit targets within a very target driven organisation. Previous experience within the Automotive Industry is preferred.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 08.00 to 18.00 with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break, Saturday 09.00-13.00 on a rota basis.
