Service Asset & Configuration Management Lead

We are looking ideally for a SACM professional who has been involved in transformation, having previously created value from Service Now and Configuration Management installation.



We also require strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate outside of the SACM function (for example change incident and problem management functions), realise the value and use of the data created to understand and drive change across asset inventory, and realise efficiencies and cost savings.



This role will be responsible for the management, execution and continuous improvement of Service Asset & Configuration Management processes and procedures within the group and across the integrated supply chain. It will be responsible for the ongoing development and maturity of the Service Asset and Configuration Management capability to better serve internal teams, businesses and minimise risk (impacts) to our customers.



Working within a small team, the role holder will join at an exciting junction for the group, as they deliver against future transformation strategy for the group, and look to maximise the value from the Service Asset & Configuration Management capability.



Some key focuses will be;

* Provide leadership for the definition and management of the ongoing vision, strategy, roadmap and operational plan to support a sustainable Service Asset & Configuration Management capability
* Manage the overall design, development, future integration and execution of the Configuration & Asset management processes internally across the group and across the integrated supply chain to drive business value and limit risk impacts/issues
* Be responsible for driving the internal service performance (and governance thereof) to the Configuration & Asset management processes both internally and externally
* Be a driver vocating the benefits and value from Service Asset & Configuration Management capability to drive further integration, improvement or investment.
* Be responsible for integrating and communicating with technology transformational programmes and change projects to ensure future Service Asset & Configuration Managements requirements are met



Essential Skills

* Leader or People Manager of teams, who can liaise at all levels of the organisation
* Ability to Implementation and/or maturity of a Configuration/Asset Management capability within an organisation
* Demonstrable ServiceNow experience
* Service Management / Delivery experience (preferably ITIL qualified)



Desirable Skills

* Able to assess and evaluate risk
* Cost / Business Management experience

* Knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery/Mapping capabilities
