An award-winning, user-led independent registered charity working with and on behalf of disabled people who aims to provide or assist in the provision of services, support and information to people with disabilities, their families.

Your new role

Has responsibility for the organisation's finance function working closely with the Chief Executive and the Finance & General Purposes Sub-committee.


* lead on the day to day financial control and management of the organisation with responsibility for statutory compliance
* produce the financial reporting and budgets
* lead a small team


What you'll need to succeed


* Experience of a senior finance role
* Ability to produce reports and budgets
* Understanding charity accounting
* Experience in Sage 50 Accounts
* Experience in Sage payroll software
* Excellent communication and organisational and time management skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Ability to lead, motivate and be part of effective and efficient teams
* Experience of line management
* Experience in company secretarial administration
* Experience in HR and familiarity with employment law
* Experience of working with a finance committee
