We are looking for a Finance Assistant due to growth for a company based in Rochester kent. The Finance Assistant will process financial transactions in SAGE Line 50, and prepare data/reports using SAGE and Excel Spreadsheets.

This post involves inward/outward invoicing including payment progression, cash handling and banking duties. Relevant experience of general financial duties is essential and a working knowledge of SAGE Line 50 is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE
• Input of Daily banking to SAGE Accounting System
• Undertake Bank Reconciliation on SAGE Accounting System
• Petty Cash Reconciliation
• Liaise with G4S on a weekly basis
• Coding of invoices and expenses claims and input to SAGE.
• Matching invoices to purchase orders and reconciling to supplier statements
• Distribution of invoices to various managers for authorisation
• Filing of all invoices and payment documentation
• Distribution of Cheques/Remittance advices to suppliers
• Dealing with supplier enquiries and the prompt resolution of queries
• Raising Sales Invoices for stock and training courses
• Issue of Statements
• Production and Input of Lottery and Raffle winner cheques
• Input of daily credit card receipts to SAGE
• Prompt and accurate filing of all documentation

SALARY: £20,000

HOURS OF WORK: 37 hours per week
Monday to Thursday 9am – 5pm
Friday 9am – 4:30pm

ANNUAL LEAVE: 25 working days + bank holidays.
