Job Description
As a kitchen assistant – you are effectively the engine room of the kitchen. Working under the guidance of a kitchen manager or chef de partie, your job is to ensure that the kitchen is clean and operational. In some kitchens, you may also be involved in preparing ingredients
Duties & Responsibilities
• Helping out with food prep
• Washing utensils and dishes and making sure they are stored appropriately
• Preparing dining room for corporate events , laying tables, polishing cutlery, polishing glasses and ensuring condiments are full
• Making sure drinks cabinets are well stocked
• Clearing tables, keeping coffee machine and ensuring area is well stocked
• Cleaning the food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas
Requirements
• Ability to stand on your feet for several hours
• Work in a team environment
• Commitment and reliability
Day time work 07:00 - 15:00
