Support Worker Team Leader – Residential Children’s Services

Team Leader
Are you looking for an opportunity to manage a team?
Are you an experienced Senior Support Worker or Deputy Team Leader with your NVQ level 3 in Health and Social care with Children looking for progression and more responsibilities?
Do you have exceptional Leadership Skills?

CBS Butler are currently looking for Team Leaders with exceptional Leadership skills and Good communication skills to work with a leading UK childrens charity. This role will require you to work with Children and Young People aged 5-19 years who have needs which include; Learning Difficulties, Challenging Behaviour and Complex Health Needs.

As a Team Leader you would be required to carry out the following duties:
Help assist Day to Day Care of Children and Young people
Manage rotas on a daily basis
Motivate, support and mentor the staff when needed
Provide effective supervision to Support Workers on your team.
Liaise with parents and families
Ensure compliance to company and regulatory boards safeguarding, Health and Safety and Practice standards

The ideal candidate must meet the following requirements:
Experience working with Children or Young People ideally in a residential setting
Providing care for children with learning difficulties and/or challenging behaviour
NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care (Essential)
Enhanced DBS working with Children
Must have at least 3 references
Your own transport is desirable
