Support Worker – Waking Night

Waking Night Support Workers are urgently required for full and part time permenant work with one of the UK's largest Children Charities. As a Waking Night Support Worker you will be working with children and young people with learning disabilities, some challenging behaviour, learning difficulties and complex health needs in a range of everyday tasks and leisure activities within a full time residential setting
This position requires you to work both week days and weekends carrying out shifts between the hours of 9pm and 7am.
All Support workers are required urgently and you can expect to be given full time hours very quickly!
Waking Night Support Worker - Responsibilities:
Flexible responsive, high quality and person centred care
Providing emotional, social and practical support
Assist with personal care - toileting, bathing etc.
Administration of medication and clinical procedures
Ensuring needs of residents are heard and met
Undertake routine household tasks
Contribute to the development and evaluation of care plans
Maintain up to date files
Waking Night Support Worker - Qualifications:
Passionate to work in a care environment with children and young adults
NVQ level 2 or 3 in health and social care with children is required
Being a driver will be beneficial
