Assistant Account Handler

As the insurance recruitment specialists in Kent, Barker Munro Recruitment is working with this expanding and fresh faced specialist regional broker, who is looking to recruit an additional member of staff as an Assistant Account Handler for their office.

As an Assistant Account Handler, you will be responsible for day to day office duties, working with small New business quotes and everyday renewal processing of SME clients. You will work closely with the team on day to day administrative duties, supporting senior management with new business presentations and handling daily email and claims correspondence.

Within your role you will be required to deal with clients on the telephone and in writing and sometimes face to face. The broker handles all elements of the commercial insurance market so you will ideally have knowledge in areas like commercial combined, business interruption, Liability, Personal Accident and Travel to name but a few.

My client will support all CII study support for staff; this is an excellent opportunity to enhance your career and join a growing broker.

To be considered for this opening you will be able to demonstrate some knowledge in commercial lines insurance, ideally from a broker in the UK insurance market. You will have previous exposure of delivering high quality customer and client service within this insurance market and ideally be able to show that you have commenced CII studies, but this is not essential.
