Development Manager:
We are Parentkind, a leading charity that inspires and enables parents to play an active role in their children’s education, so that every child can thrive. As Parentkind enters a new phase of growth, we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Development Manager to join our Head Office in Tonbridge, Kent.
Who you are:
You are an innovator with a proven track record of identifying gaps, creating solutions and translating into successful pilots that generate revenue to achieve targets and in turn will deliver fundamental change. You will have experience of securing funding from grants and managing external relationships. You promote collaborative working and be able to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines. Being an exceptional project manager is key. You’re dynamic, proactive, highly motivated and a great communicator that is able to work well under pressure.
The role:
Reporting into the Development and Membership Director, you will be responsible for leading Parentkind’s development initiatives to generate revenue; including creating and managing a pipeline of grant funders, developing and strengthening membership and training programmes as well as developing and implementing new pilots / products.
You will be integral to ensuring that Parentkind becomes a recognised brand for parents and wider stakeholders within the educational sector. You will be managing a variety of development initiatives from conception right through to implementation, in particular, our schools membership, and training and also to further develop our new grant funding strategy.
Responsibilities will include:
• Membership development
• Grant funding relationships and applications
• Devising new revenue pilots / products
• Managing a small team

Job Type: Full-time (35 hours a week), permanent
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
