An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bookkeeper to join an expanding business based in Sheerness, Kent.
Main Duties;
• Ensuring that accurate VAT and other taxes are paid
• Full management of sales ledger & purchase ledger
• Month end and annual account preparation
• Maintaining accurate & sufficient account records
• Liaising with Directors and produce management accounts to trial balance
• Maintaining payroll records
• Ensuring compliance with HMRC
• Ensuring that that the payroll payments and document submissions are accurate and completed on time.
Required Qualifications
• Extensive accounting experience encompassing sale ledger, purchase ledger.
• Extensive payroll experience for a staff of 30+
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of Sage Accounts and Sage payroll
Working hours would be Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:00
