Our client is a local hospital looking to fill a domestic night shift position. They are looking for quick learning, friendly and reliable candidates to join their fast-paced department.
About the job:
This domestic night role will require you to play a vital part in the day-to-day running of the ward. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that high standards of cleanliness are reached within the ward as well as public and staff areas. You will also need to have strong people skills as this role will be partially patient facing. The role will be on a weekly rota, where you would start your shift at 22:00 and finish at 6:00.
What skills and experience you should have?
It is advantageous, but not essential, if you already have some domestic experience. The client will be providing full training at the start of the assignment.
You will require a current DBS certificate or be prepared to apply for one, you will require 5 years of working history, HRGO are happy to support you through the application process.
Successful candidates will have these crucial skills:
* Punctual, reliable and trustworthy.
* Ability to follow verbal instructions.
* Ability to manage time effectively.
* Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.
* Awareness of health and safety procedures.
* Reading skills for following instructions.
* Maths skills for measuring cleaning fluids.
* Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP)
Benefits:
This is a temporary position with a possibility of a permanent contract. The position has availability of various shift patterns which would require you to commit to a weekly rota which may include weekends.
The rate of pay per hour is £7.83 during weekdays and £8.83 during weekends for which the payments will be processed weekly and paid a week in arrears.
The location of the hospital is easily accessible via both car and public transport.
