The Best Connection are seeking class 1 truck drivers who have a keen interest in working for a farm in Cranbrook.

The role itself requires you to deliver Eggs, and a variety of farm produce throughout the South East of England.

The typical day would involve reporting for duty at 04:00, you will then be presented with your delivery notes for the day, and informed of any safety procedures that you are required to follow at specific locations. Before leaving the depot, it is crucial that you complete a vehicle check, ensuring that there are no faults or damages that you consider a risk to your safety. Once these procedures have been completed, you will then commence to your deliveries, ensuring that you maintain a high level of customer service when you arrive to the locations. In some cases you may be required to help unload the vehicle with a contact at the site. If there are any delivery issues throughout the day, you can call the client, who will be happy to assist you. Once you have completed your shift, you are required to complete a timesheet, which will be authorised by the client, and then you are required to send the timesheet to 'The Best Connection' in order for us to payroll the shift.

You will be required to deliver into popular supermarkets, typically completing 2-3 drops per day, re-loading at some point throughout the course of your shift. When you arrive at the supermarket delivery point, you will be required to reverse the vehicle into the bay ensuring that the produce is easily accessible to the supermarket staff.

To begin, you are required to contact The Best Connection branch in order to book an appointment to come into the office and complete all relevant registration forms.

Pay rates PAYE:

£11.50 Per Hour (Monday-Friday)
£12.00 Per Hour (Monday-Friday after 8 hours)
£13.00 Per Hour (Saturday)
£15.00 Per hour (Sunday)

Pay Rates LCC:

£13.00 Per Hour (Monday-Friday)
£15.00 Per Hour (Monday-Friday after 8 hours)
£16.50 Per Hour (Saturday)
£20.00 Per hour (Sunday)

To be eligible for this position, you must possess the following:

- Driving Licence with C+E entitlement
- Valid Digi-Card
- Valid CPC
- Positive attitude and work ethic
