You’ll be working amongst our large development team, amongst our highly talented Development team at our head office in Maidstone.

As a Full Stack .net Developer you will undertake a hands-on development role, supporting across all departments across the business, providing technical expertise on all system problems or improvements alike.

You’ll have experience in both front-end and back-end web development within an agile environment.

It's an exciting time to join Watchfinder at the moment, we've got eyes on new horizon and growth and expansion into international waters.

You will be responsible for the implementation of features, tools and applications which you will own end-to-end (with support from the team) that will have a direct impact on the company and key stakeholders of the business.


• Design overall architecture of the web applications.
• Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications.
• Analyse and resolve technical and application problems
• Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features.
• Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery
• Maintain code integrity and organization.
• Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
• Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team
• Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on time and on budget.
• Experience working with graphic designers and converting designs to visual elements.
• A strong understanding of the implementation of security and data protection.
• Highly experienced in back-end programming languages.
• Development experience for both mobile and desktop.
• Experience with cloud message APIs and usage of push notifications.
• Knowledge of code versioning tools (Visual Studio Team Services and Git)
• Agile Methodologies with a lean towards Kanban

Core Competencies

• The desire to help others improve through mentoring
• Internally motivated, able to work proficiently both independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication skills with both internal team members and external business stakeholders
• 3+ Years’ experience as a Software Developer
• Prior experience in a technical leadership position
• Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems and processes

Essential Skills:

• Experience with web development technologies including ASP.NET, MVC, CSS, C# and JavaScript
• Experience with database development including database design in SQL.
• Experience with HTML, Git (source control) and Web API
