We are looking for a Dynamic Sales Driven Business Development Specialist to join our Central Operations and Business Development team. You will be based at our Hadlow campus but may be required to work at other sites within the Hadlow Group.
As a Business Development Specialist, you will be required to manage Apprenticeship Business Development activities across all sites in order to deliver a high quality business development service which maximises conversion of business opportunities to enrolment rates and revenue targets.
You will need to be able to provide excellent customer service in order to maximise recruitment and business opportunities that support the College’s Strategic and Development plan, positioning the Hadlow Group as a provider of excellence.
The successful candidate will need excellent negotiation and communication skills, the ability to be assertive and independent when necessarily, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. You will be proficient in working collaboratively across college departments with internal and external stakeholders, as well as to attend networking events on behalf of the Group.
There is a requirement to be flexible in terms of working hours; due to the nature of this role, the post-holder will, on occasion, be required to work evenings and weekends.
As well as a contributory pension scheme, health cash plan and free car parking, this post also attracts five weeks holiday each year (excluding bank holidays).
The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check and provide proof of their right to work in the UK. Where applicable, a prohibition check will be carried out.
