We have a great opportunity for a Neighbourhood Officer to join our team on a full time permanent basis.
You will lead on the delivery of quality consistent and pro-active housing and tenancy management services to a range of tenure types with a view to supporting and strengthening sustainable communities. You'll work within your assigned geographical patch and use your excellent customer service skills to serve as the lead local contact.
With experience of successfully and confidently representing your organisation in court, and other environments, you'll use your excellent communication skills to adapt your approach to suit the audience.
You'll have the ability to work on your own initiative and lead on local decision making, problem solving and dealing with potentially complex situations. With a busy workload, you'll be able to mitigate risks to customer and organisation, and achieve positive outcomes.
Knowledge of current housing legislation is required, in particular an understanding of Landlord and Tenant law and other legal requirements relevant to the allocation and management of homes. You'll be writing clear, accurate and concise records and reports and must have the ability to analyse data from a variety of sources.
