Our client is currently sourcing a Head of PMO. This role will be based in Sidcup, North Kent area and working for our client at a very exciting time for the business. There is a huge drive and focus on the IT landscape and structure within the business to enable a better service to customers now and in the future.

The role supports the IT Leadership Team by providing clear information on all aspects of IT departmental delivery performance whilst managing and supporting wider organisational change through product owners and product delivery teams.

The role will report into the Director of Planning and will have up to 3 direct reports. The Planning function of IT ensure that resourcing, product / project management and administration are all fulfilled within the companies standards

Skills and Experience Required:

* Relevant technical accreditation (e.g. PRINCE2, ISEB or similar)
* Experience, knowledge and understanding of Agile work practices and methods
* Experience of running an IT 'PMO 2.0' / Agile PMO function within a mid-to-large organisation
* Experience of managing IT roadmaps and ensuring alignment to business strategy
* Experience of resource management and managing a team of 5 or more staff in total
* Strong influencing abilities at a senior level
* Excellent communication and organisational skills with an ability to manage large volumes of work
* Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
