An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Digital Marketing Executive to join our business.

Brachers is a leading law firm in the South East, which prides itself on delivering quality and value to clients through continuous innovation, robust management practice and a commitment to excellence.

This award firm is going through an exciting period of change and growth. The Marketing and Business Development function is helping take a key role in this growth and you will assist the team on specific marketing and digital initiatives in line with the strategic growth objectives.

This broad role will cover elements of the digital and marketing mix, including the development of the website and ensuring content is relevant, consistent with the firm’s key messages, optimised and supports client and new business development campaigns. You will provide advice and guidance to practice areas on how to promote themselves digitally, driving engagement and working with the Marketing Executive’s to help increase reach through marketing channels.

You will also have responsibilities to include management of digital agencies, conducting research and analysis, management of our digital platforms (including Twitter and LinkedIn) along with helping create online content to improve engagement. The firm is also implementing a CRM and you will support the team in working closely with teams to maximise email communication and addressing data quality issues.

You will report directly to the Marketing & Business Development Manager and work with the team to ensure best practice is followed across the firm and that a consistent brand is applied.

We would expect you to have a strong commercial awareness, along with the ability to manage your workload effectively to ensure the delivery of high quality work within agreed timeframes. Good communication skills are essential to the role so you must be confident in dealing with people across a business.

The successful candidate will be a proactive and creative graduate with a good academic record and relevant marketing and digital experience from within the professional services sector. You will require excellent communication and demonstrate strong commercial awareness and focus.

Core Activities

- Management and development of the website - ensuring content is relevant, consistent with the firm’s key messages, optimised and supports client and new business development campaigns. You will provide advice and guidance to practice areas on how to promote themselves digitally (to also include LinkedIn), driving engagement and working with the team to help increase reach through online channels.

- Measurement and reporting of website and other online channels.

- Managing and creating e-communication and digital campaigns to include reporting on the effectiveness.

- Management of digital agencies.

- Implement best practice strategies to engage online users with video, webinars and other online channels.

- Assisting with events to include e-bulletins, management of Eventbrite and making use of online platforms to attract new registrations and improve engagement.

- Supporting the implementation of the firm’s CRM database and working with the team to support and assist in email communication and addressing data quality issues.

- To provide assistance with specific internal communication activity to include e-bulletins, staff surveys and creating engaging content on the intranet.

- Assisting with the management of client feedback platforms, reporting and analysis.

Knowledge, Training, Skills and Experience

- Educated to degree level or equivalent and have a strong interest in developing a career within the professional services marketing sector.

- To be a clear, persuasive writer and an outstanding communicator with an ability to produce a range of different materials.

- You will have experience of dealing with management/partners in previous roles and previous experience of project management and managing online platforms.

- You will have business to business marketing/business development experience.

- You will have excellent organisational skills and excellent IT and systems skills with strong communications skills (written and verbal) and good attention to detail. You will have the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.

- You will also need to be able to demonstrate strong commercial awareness and be able to build strong relationships at all levels across the firm.

- Experience in social media marketing techniques, familiarity with e-marketing software and best practices.

- You will have had previous experience of implementing strategically aligned marketing activities and monitoring budgets.

- Experience in report writing including developing project briefs and research papers.

- Creative writing and the ability to develop new initiatives for external communications.

- Excellent client focus.

- Proactive attitude, taking responsibility for own workload.

- Communication skills – good written and verbal skills and ability to deal with staff and clients at all levels.

- Excellent organisational and time management skills.

- Highly developed interpersonal skills, used to working as a team player.
