With this in mind we are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person to join our Purchasing Team as a Buyer. You will be responsible for the administration and implementation of the purchasing, negotiation and planning of assigned product categories. You will ensure that all products are meeting or exceeding planned performance and planning stock by look at past data and trends. The role will involve carrying out assessments of suppliers and identifying issues as well as negotiating best prices, rebates and early settlement discounts. A key part of the role will be managing contracts and projects as well as building long term relationships with suppliers.

Experience and Skills:
• Attention to detail
• Excellent negotiating skills
• Contractual terms and conditions experience
• Results driven
• Ability to work to demanding deadlines
• Purchasing experience in a similar role
• Good level of education – relevant degree, MCIPS qualifications or equivalent would be preferable.
• Computer literate
