Stock Control Manager - Role Insight
The successful applicant will be responsible for managing and overseeing all stock operations at Watchfinder HQ. You will ensure that the department always runs smoothly and effectively. This includes direct and indirect supervision of the stock departments and offering support and training where required. We have recently opened another boutique in Essex and shortly be opening up in Manchester. Therefore, you will ideally have experience in overseeing stock control across multiple locations.
Stock Control Manager core duties:
•Overseeing a team of 5 staff (supporting with management, training and development for the team and reporting on behalf of
department)
•Overseeing live orders; processing this and passing it onto the Dispatch team on an hourly basis
•Store Requests; liaising with the Burlington Arcade Office and Retail Stock Controller
•Liaising with the Sales and Purchasing staff on orders, as well as booking in watches for assessment (90% of watches coming in and 10% going out for sale)
•Safe auditing; data cleansing on our BO6 system, managing published and unpublished stocked products and checking this twice daily
Reporting:
-Data dumping and scanning locations.
-Conducting monthly stock audits for Ascot House and Invicta House and listing any anomalies.
-Monthly safe audits of 10 safes, box audits, storing all information on excel spreadsheets
Experience/Skills:
-Continually striving to improve procedures to meet, challenging queries, exceeding and improving on targets set
-Comprehensive knowledge of Excel, along with a generally good level of familiarity with IT.
-Good track record of inter-team communication
-Ability to handle large volumes of data accurately
-A proven ability to work methodically and cope well under pressure
-4 Years of experience in Stock control/Operations Management in either a luxury retail environment or supply chain.
-Good understanding of stock control management, and of the critical role stock control plays in a business
-Confident team leader; motivates the department to achieve set goals

-Strong logical, analytical and lateral thinking skills
-Enthusiastic, passionate and trustworthy
