This wide-ranging Accountant role will involve you in the preparation of statutory year end accounts to review stage and monthly management accounts for clients. You will be working alongside the Partners and looking after a client portfolio. There is flexibility for this Accountant position to be either full or part time.
Most clients are owner managed businesses, SMEs and private individuals with investments or property, and need annual accounts completing, tax returns and general support from their accountant.
As an Accountant, you work will also include cash flow forecasting, budgeting, confirming bookkeeping, quarterly VAT returns, personal and some corporation tax returns.
You must have comprehensive accounting knowledge and experience gained through working in accountancy practice to be considered for this Vacancy. Ideally, you should be AAT qualified, or a qualified by experience Accountant. If you are looking to study for further professional qualifications, the firm will provide support for you to achieve this. Experience of Sage and cloud-based bookkeeping packages is essential.
Overall, you should be confident in working to Partner review level and supporting junior members of staff. There is flexibility for this Accountant position to be either full or part time (days and hours by negotiation). Salary would be pro rata for hours worked.
