Dartford based company are looking for an assistant buyer to perform the duties below:
• Raising Purchase Orders and placing them with suppliers.
• Order progressing / chasing suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Updating supplier contact details.
• Responsible for keeping records of Equipment on Hire
• Ad hoc duties for the Buying and Accounts Team
The ideal candidate will have:
• 5 GSCE’s or equivalent.
• Strong IT skills
• Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and to work well under pressure
• Interest in Construction/Demolition
• Willing to learn.
• Be comfortable, confident and polite on the phone.
• Can work with minimal supervision but be team orientated.
